   It may sound counterintuitive, but try your local ASPCA or APL. You'd be surprised how many purebred dogs end up in these places.

   Check on http://www.petfinder.com – you can look at any for adoption on this site. Keep in mind bulldogs tend to adopt out fast from shelters as they are popular. Also check bulldog rescue – http://www.akc.org and then navigate to bulldog national rescue – they can put you in touch with reputable rescue groups in your area.

   Bulldogs are one of those breeds where if you buy, you want to buy from a quality breeder. They are prone to many health problems, especially respiratory problems, and you want a breeder that carefully screens their breeding stock. To buy a "cheap" bulldog can cost you thousands in vet bills down the road. Don't skimp on this one.

   You can try phoning nearby resue services or animal shelters to see if they have any, or place an add in local shops etc. Asking at local vets might help as they could tell you of any breeders etc.

   Another option is to check the free adds etc online, i found a couple for you with the links posted below.

   Bulldogs cost anywhere from $1500 to $4000 and you need to make sure that you buy a healthy bulldog from a reputable breeder. Bulldogs are prone to lots of health problems that cost money. If you are concerned about spending a lot of money then you should not get one, and if you can't afford to purchase one in the first place then I'm not sure if you can afford to take care of one properly. Please take this into consideration before you try to get one.

   BulldogsNYC.com were Professional, Immaculate, and their Puppies were clean & healthy looking. Their Markings were absolutely beautiful, the best we had seen. You could see they were well cared for, besides, they were not pushing for a sale. There were two puppies we just couldn’t decide on. They let us stay with the puppy, as we inspected the one we finally decided on, played with him, and than fell in Love!
